Your journey begins at the parking lot next to John Wrights Restaurant in Wrightsville, Pa
located on the western shore of the Susquehanna River in York County, PA. You will run less
than a 1/2 of a mile north where you will enter the Susquehanna River just north of the Route 30
bridge and proceed to RUN IN THE WATER over the under water rocks to the eastern
shore of the River (Wrightsville to Columbia). Turn around and come back! This is 1.4 or 2.8 miles
of water traverse. (We will provide you a mandatory life preserver). When you are back on the
Western shore you will run a 1/2 mile back to the beginning. Only a total of 2.4 miles
but very hard miles. OPTION: RUN IT TWICE! 4.8 miles.
MUST REGISTER A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE.
We will provide you with a life preserver.
Water is in high 70'S not requiring a
wet suit. Water levels are estimated to
above knee/below waist for 6 foot
man. Running in water portion will be 50
ft north of the bridge.

We will have you go to the Trail Run In Safe
Harbor under Power Lines as a back up run
starting the same time, 12:00 Noon but the
next day August 26, 2018 -- Sunday, if water
is too high in river.
